On Competing:
- The best part of competing is ... the opportunity to pose!
Face it, this is what we work for! I love the challenge of the routine and the performance
aspect of this sport. I only wish they would give us more time on stage.
Training and Nutrition Strategy:
- 5 months out of competition begin a
lower-carbohydrate/higher-protein diet.
- Cardio training is done twice per day (1.5 to 2 hours per
day).
- With weight training increases reps to the 12 to 15 range
and decreases rest between sets to one minute.
- 5 or 6 weight-training sessions per week.
Goals:
- For 2001 Frances would like to compete at 114 pounds, the
top of the Lightweight class, at the CBBF World Qualifier and then again at the IFBB World
Championships.
